Honest about what we can and cannot control.
This page describes controls that live inside YourWorth. It is maintained by YourWorth to answer common questions and is not an independent certification.
What we can do on the platform
- Verify email, require 18+ confirmation, and gate withdrawals behind Stripe verification.
- Review buyer applications and campaigns before publication.
- Record consent version, disclosures, and downloadable transaction receipts.
- Store submissions in private, access-controlled storage with signed URLs.
- Log every file download with buyer, team member, time, and IP when available.
- Suspend buyer or seller accounts, pause campaigns, and block future purchases.
- Refund unfulfilled or disputed transactions from platform-held funds.
What we cannot guarantee
- We cannot track a downloaded file after it leaves the platform.
- We cannot force a buyer to delete data from an external system.
- We cannot prevent screenshots or off-platform copying.
- We cannot control third-party systems a buyer uses.
- We cannot guarantee anonymized data cannot be re-identified elsewhere.
- We cannot guarantee a buyer’s legal compliance in every jurisdiction.
- We cannot automatically verify every statement a buyer makes.
- We cannot remotely erase information already delivered to a buyer.
Prohibited data
Campaigns may not request passwords, security answers, government ID numbers, full credit-card or bank credentials, authentication codes, another person’s private information, contact lists, private messages or emails, information about minors, stolen or illegally obtained information, information intended for fraud, precise live location, or anything intended for stalking or harassment. Reporting and disputes
Anyone on the platform can report a misleading campaign, a buyer requesting prohibited information, a payment issue, harassment, suspicious activity, misuse or fraud concerns, or account issues. YourWorth can review platform activity and payments, but may not be able to investigate or control activity that occurs entirely outside the platform.
YourWorth.org provides a marketplace where members and businesses can arrange paid opportunities involving information members choose to share. YourWorth can manage activity that occurs within the platform, including accounts, listings, consent records, payments, submissions, and access permissions. Once information is delivered, copied, exported, viewed, or downloaded by a business, it may no longer be within YourWorth's possession or control. YourWorth cannot guarantee that information delivered to a business can be retrieved, deleted, corrected, monitored, or prevented from being copied or used outside the platform. Members should only submit information they are comfortable sharing. Businesses are solely responsible for the lawful storage, security, use, retention, and deletion of information they receive. YourWorth.org is a mission-driven marketplace operated by Let's Ven, building a fairer data economy — one member at a time. YourWorth is not presented as a charitable or nonprofit organization. The platform may earn revenue through clearly disclosed marketplace and transaction fees.
