YourWorth.org is a mission-driven marketplace operated by Let’s Ven. YourWorth is not presented as a charitable or nonprofit organization. The platform may earn revenue through clearly disclosed marketplace and transaction fees. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it so you can make informed choices.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Name, email address, and any profile details you choose to add when you create an account.
- Preferences. The categories and types of opportunities you choose to see or hide, plus your communication and payout preferences.
- Submissions. Any files, survey answers, text, images, or documents you upload to a specific opportunity you have reviewed and approved.
- Transaction records. Campaigns you participate in, approvals, payouts, fees, and dispute records.
- Device and log information. IP address, browser type, operating system, and activity logs used for security, debugging, and fraud prevention.
- Payment metadata. Payout methods, verification status, and transaction history. Full payment card or bank account numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the marketplace and match you with relevant opportunities.
- Verify eligibility, identity, and payout accounts.
- Process payments and record transaction fees.
- Review business applications and moderate opportunities.
- Keep consent receipts, audit logs, and dispute records.
- Communicate with you about your account, opportunities, and support requests.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats.
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
3. What we share and why
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With a business you approve. When you review and approve a specific opportunity, the information you submit for that opportunity is shared with the business that posted it, under the disclosures shown at the time of approval.
- With payment providers. We share payment and verification information with our payment processor to send payouts and comply with financial regulations.
- With service providers. We use trusted providers for hosting, email, analytics, security, and customer support. They are contractually bound to use your information only for the services they provide to us.
- For legal or safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, protect our rights, or prevent harm.
4. How long we keep your information
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Account information. Kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
- Submissions. Stored for the duration of the opportunity and any applicable dispute-resolution period. Once delivered to a business, we may keep a transaction record, but we cannot delete copies that the business has already downloaded or exported.
- Transaction and payout records. Kept for as long as required by law, tax obligations, and financial compliance.
- Logs and analytics. Retained for a limited period for security and debugging, then deleted or aggregated.
5. Your rights and choices
You can:
- Update your profile, preferences, and payout settings.
- Review and decline any opportunity before approving it.
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Close your account and request deletion of your data.
Some records, such as transactions and consent receipts, may need to be retained for legal or compliance purposes even after account closure. Information already delivered to a business may not be recoverable from that business.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, private storage buckets, and audit logging to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials safe.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We also use limited analytics to understand how the platform is used and to improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use of YourWorth after an update means you accept the revised policy.
